K650 de chez Yum BoatsYum Boats lance une nouvelle version du K650, adapté aux spécificités et aux attentes des écoles de voile. Primé par les magazines internationaux (Best Boat 2010 par Sail Magazine, Nominé pour le European Yacht of the Year 2010), il permettra aux clubs nautiques de bénéficier des performances du K650 à moindre coût.

 

La nouvelle version a été étudié afin d’apporter une alternative aux voiliers déjà disponibles sur le marché. En effet, le K650 est beaucoup plus attractif en terme de performances tout en restant un voilier sûr et sécurisant. Son tirant d’eau et ses filières permettent aux novices de se sentir en toute sécurité et son gréement puissant mais maitrisable apporte de nouvelles sensations. Un équipage de 4 à 5 personnes peut ainsi prendre place dans le vaste cockpit où toutes les manœuvres sont renvoyées.

Le K650 sous spi

Facile à mener pour un équipage débutant, il devient très performant aux mains de régatiers experts. Il est très facilement transportable grâce à son gabarit routier et nécessite uniquement le permis B pour le tracter.

Le premier K 650 a été présenté lors du Salon Nautique de Paris 2008. Il est le fruit d’une rencontre pendant la Coupe de l’America entre l’architecte naval Juan Kouyoumdjian et Marin Clausin, le patron de Karver. Leur idée était d’appliquer à un bateau de 6,50 m l’expérience des équipes de courses avec lesquelles ils travaillent à depuis de nombreuses années. Il était alors commercialisé au prix de 38 900 Euros TTC, avec gréement et barre en fibre de carbone.
