Le Maraudeur: un bateau d'exception!

Maraudeur au mouillage Certainement le plus petit habitable, le Maraudeur est un voilier qui ne vieillit pas. L' association AS Maraudeur continue activement à faire vivre ce petit bateau peu encombrant et très amusant à naviguer!

Selon le choix de son skipper, il peut être barré sereinement, tout en restant plaisant à la barre. Mais il peut aussi être mené sportivement, et il s’avère alors très rapide, sensible, vif et toujours agréable. Selon la compétence de son équipage, son équipement, il peut alors naviguer jusqu’à force 5 à 6 .

Son rayon d’action maximum est de 12 milles entre deux abris, et peut être considéré comme quasi illimité grâce à sa facilité de transport sur remorque, équipée d’un système de mise à l’eau; tous les plans d’eau du monde lui sont donc pratiquement accessibles !

Le Maraudeur est un dériveur lesté par 70 kg dans la quille, et 17 kg de dérive, procurant donc une réelle stabilité en navigation, affichant une flottabilité positive pour la plupart des modèles. Ses formes relativement pleines font de ce mini-habitable un voilier très marin.

Maraudeur au portant

Il existe sur le marché un certain nombre de bateaux de sa taille, mais rares sont ceux qui bénéficient du soutien d’une association de propriétaires dynamique et efficace telle l'AS Maraudeur (125 membres à fin 2009) ! Depuis bientôt 50 ans, elle apporte son aide à tous ses adhérents, les informe, les conseille, met à leur disposition un manuel d’utilisation très complet (La bible, un ouvrage de 210 pages), favorise les échanges, organise des rassemblements (National Maraudeur), générateurs de solides amitiés.

De ce fait, elle confère au bateau une valeur commerciale soutenue sur le marché de l’occasion, dont la jauge n’est pas trop restrictive (elle veille en particulier à limiter la course à l’armement, génératrice de coûts excessifs). De ce fait, les membres de l’AS Maraudeur prennent plaisir à améliorer et personnaliser leur cher bateau. Chaque réunion ou rassemblement (Dont le National Maraudeur annuel est le flambeau) est l’occasion de découvrir les trucs et les astuces mis en oeuvre par les copains.
